That's one I would watch. That would be one retro final, even though they never really met in the finals in the late 70s and 80s.
No interest in seeing TB and Vegas in there.

Yeah, the 2 two most dominate teams of those decades. I wonder what the ratings would be like? I imagine the Canadian ratings would be better than when the Canucks played '11 due to the fact there are more Habs fan coast 2 coast than Canuck fans.

I want to see New York islanders in the final. We need big city teams in final to help NHL get more sponsorship, more attention from overseas broadcast.

Having a team from a small city to win two consecutive stanley cups is a disaster for NHL's brand value and expansion to overseas.

I will root against Tampa all day long. They represent everything I dislike about advantages some teams have in the salary cap era.

On that note, I’ll bet Tampa hate Chris Lee as much as Montreal now.
