The prize fulfillment was terrible last time. I'm still waiting for a $5 gift card.

This one is off to a roaring start. It doesnt look like they have the staggered entry/end date. I feel this contest is leftover prizes from the last one.

Without a Purchase/Receipt: Alternatively, to obtain one (1) Entry in the Contest for a chance to win a Prize without making a purchase, follow the on-screen instructions at https://www.mccafevip.ca/en/amoe/ the “No Purchase Necessary Website”) using a compatible internet browser. Follow the prompts to: (i) fully complete the entry form (the “NPN Entry Request”) with all required information; (ii) complete the 350-character minimum unique and original paragraph (in Sponsor’s or its Representative’s discretion) explaining “Why I Want to Win one of the Prizes”; and (iii) signify your agreement that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these Rules. Upon receipt of a valid NPN Entry Request in accordance with these Rules, you will receive one (1) Entry per unique and original NPN Entry Request within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours of the NPN Entry Request. If the NPN Entry Request is deemed valid, the Entry will be confirmed via email, in which you will also be notified as to whether you were selected as eligible to win a Prize. To be eligible, an NPN Entry Request must: (i) be unique and not a copy of previously entered NPN Entry Request submitted by you or any other participant; and (ii) be submitted during the Contest Period and received by no later than the end of the Contest Period.

Here's the correct amoe entry page:

https://www.mccafevip.ca/en/amoe/

Note you need to write an original essay each time you enter (up to 2x/day), you can't write one and keep using it.

I got a quick email saying I was a loser :P

Thanks.

Just rambled on for 150 words (thank you https://wordcounter.net/ for keeping track for me lol) and submitted. Within 5 minutes got a reply that I did not win :(

No need to use wordcounter, the entry form will tell you when you have reached enough words.

Oh I didn't know that.

Too late now anyway, I submitted twice but lost both times.
I wonder if we can re-use our 2 different essays each day? Guess I will find out tomorrow.

The rules say

I mean you can try but it would suck to win and then be disqualified.

The emails look very similar to the Nestle contests where you also had to provide a 150 word essay. So I wonder if it's the same company doing the contest on McDonald's behalf.
Every day I was reusing the same essay in the Nestle contest and still won. So I will do the same here and take my chances lol.

Edit: I just verified from the email, that it is the same company. Snipp.us aka Snipp Media.
