2023/03/01 Equitable Life GROW YOUR FUTURE RSP CONTEST (purchase or mail in, QC OK)
RRSP Transaction Entry
Eligible Contestants who have an Equitable Life Registered Retired Savings Plan (“RRSP”) policy (each,
an “RRSP Entrant”) and who: (i) have made a deposit into their RRSP at Equitable Life during the
Contest Period; and (ii) do not advise the Sponsor in writing that they do not want to be enrolled in the
Contest for the prize draws; will automatically receive one entry/ballot for each deposit into their RRSP
during the Contest Period for the prize draw next-following the deposit, with eligible non-winning
entries/ballots carried forward to subsequent $100 Prize draws, if any, and the Grand Prize draw. All
winning entries/ballots during the Contest Period will subsequently only be eligible for the Grand Prize
draw.
No Purchase Entry
Eligible Contestants that do not wish to, or are not able to, make contributions into an Equitable Life
registered policy during the Contest Period (each, a No-Purchase Entrant”), may enter the prize draw by
completing an original essay of not less than 100 words on the reasons why RRSP contributions are a
great option for retirement savings and submit their essay by mail, along with their first name, last name,
telephone number, email address, complete mailing address and age to the following mailing address:
Equitable Life of Canada, 1 Westmount Road North, Waterloo, Ontario, N2J 4C7, Attention: Savings &
Retirement. Each such mail-in entry (a “Mail-In Entry”) must be sent in a separate postage paid
envelope. For the unique, fully completed and original essay received during the Contest Period, the
applicable Eligible Contestant will receive one entry for the prize draw next following receipt of the essay
by the Sponsor, with eligible non-winning entries carried forward to subsequent $100 prize draws, if any,
and the Grand Prize draw. All winning Mail-In Entries will subsequently only be eligible for the Grand
Prize draw.
An Eligible Contestant shall not submit more than one Mail-In Entry.
There will be 44 prizes granted during the Contest Period, totalling $10,200, consisting of the following:
“$100 Prizes”: 42 cheques, each in the amount of $100.
“Grand Prizes”: 2 cheques, one in the amount of $5,000 and one in the amount of $1,000.
