To earn an entry in the Contest (each, an “Entry” and collectively, the “Entries”), make any customer pay service maintenance or repair purchase during the Contest Period from a Participating Mazda Dealer (an “Eligible Purchase”). A “Participating Mazda Dealer” is a participating Mazda dealer in Canada listed on the following website: https://www.mazda.ca/en/parts-servicecampaign/. To qualify as an Eligible Purchase, a purchase must have a valid closed repair order issued by the applicable Mazda dealer. Over the counter purchases, warranty and recall works do not qualify as an Eligible Purchase. Transactions that are incomplete, cancelled or returned do not qualify as an Eligible Purchase. Upon completing an Eligible Purchase during the Contest Period in accordance with all requirements set out above, the owner of the vehicle associated with the Eligible Purchase (based on Mazda’s official records as determined by Mazda in its sole and absolute discretion) will automatically receive one (1) Entry in the Contest. Limit one (1) Entry per Eligible Purchase. To be eligible, an Eligible Purchase and the entrant’s participation in the Contest must be in accordance with these Rules (including, but not limited to, the specific Participation Requirements listed below), all as determined by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion. Alternatively, to enter the Contest without making an Eligible Purchase, print your first name, last name, telephone number, complete mailing address (including postal code), valid email address, age and signature on a plain white piece of paper and mail it (in an envelope with sufficient Canadian postage) along with a 50 word or more unique and original handwritten essay on Why You Want to Enter the Contest to: Mazda Winter Service Clinic Contest, C/O Mazda Service Direct, 1189 Colonel Sam Drive Oshawa, ON L1H 8W8 (collectively, a “Mail-in Request”). Upon receipt of your eligible Mail-in Request in accordance with these Rules (as determined by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion), you will receive one (1) Entry in the Contest. To be eligible, your Mail-in Request must: (i) be received separately in an envelope bearing sufficient Canadian postage (i.e. multiple Mail-in Requests in the same envelope will be void); (ii) contain a unique and original handwritten essay, as set out above, that has not been submitted for entry in a previous Mazda contest; and (iii) be post-marked during the Contest Period and received prior to the Selection Date (defined below). The Sponsor takes no responsibility for any lost, stolen, delayed, illegible, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed Requests.
Prize: There are five (5) prizes (each, a “Prize”) available to be won in total. One (1) Prize will be awarded per Region. Each Prize consists of “free gas for a year”, awarded as six (6) $500 CAD Petro Canada gift cards (for a total of $3000 CAD in Petro Canada gift cards) redeemable for the purchase of fuel at any participating Petro Canada location. The value of each Prize is based on one (1) thirty (30) litre fill up per week (approximate average fill), at $1.94 CAD per litre (the average annual Petro Canada price per litre), multiplied by fifty-two (52) weeks.
