I don't get the hype for this movie. The first one wasn't really that good, and the Marvel franchise is quickly getting stale
It's held up pretty well actually, with rare blips like Captain Marvel being the exception. I partially get the hype.

That said, I can't take the time off work for this... if I were 10 years younger... sure.

It has, but infinity wars was so underwhelming to me. The jokes are stale and formulaic. It's not DC level bad, but I think I've just outgrown it. Captain Marvel sealed the deal for me. I'll still watch this though lol

They're in order of how they should be watched. Despite knowing that, my OCD sense is tingling

theater will smell like vomit and you'll hate the people sitting next to you by hour 5. For the love of god, and satan, why would you do this to yourself???

Umm I don't think people will be staying in the theatre for 2 days, lol.

Price is not that bad but consider the additional costs:
-Having to take at least two days off from work for most people (it's on weekdays) and even getting the days off lol.
-It's downtown so parking/transportation costs unless you live close by/downtown.

Would only do this if it started on Friday and ended on Sunday, was in VIP, was in 3D, and didn't cost much more.

This event has no context. It doesn’t say how the movies will be broken down and played daily. Is this a marathon going from movie 1 to 22 non-stop? That’s not realistic. How people are able to do these events makes no sense.

In December 2019, think I'll try to do all 9 Star Wars movies marathon instead. It's more doable for me.

I would have participated in one of these marathons a long time ago, but every single time they are shown in a crappy regular theatre. Not once were they ever screened in a premium auditorium like an IMAX or UltraAVX room. These are big blockbuster movies and need to be seen in auditoriums with the best picture/sound quality for its presentation.

22 movies over 3 days, that too weekdays? Are you crazy?

Take my upvote though.
EDIT: Netflix FTW!
Netflix (Canada) doesn't seem to have all 21 released movies at the moment.

First Bender, then Flexo, then Fry? haha j/k

But honestly i'm not sure they really need to bother (well I mean clearly, they haven't but...). If anything they could just put Captain America first, Captain Marvel second, and then the rest in the same order and it would still be fine. The rest of them are close enough in chronology that they don't really need to "go in order" to make any more sense than they already do.

I use etymotic brand myself, but recommend ear plugs as well. The theatres just crank out the volume way too loud now and these ear plugs don’t muddy anything, just lower the overall volume.

So all these earplugs don't actually completely block out the sound? Just reduce it and still clear? But is the resulting volume enough? (since you have no control over how much it reduces the sound)

Does it reduce by like half? Or how much
