They just announced their 4th quarter today and it was strong by adding 164,000 post paid subscribers (net 112,000).

We shall see, I’m thinking probably July/August.

They might be rethinking that strategy. Their ARPU is way down, so their plan of migrating people over and then enticing them with more expensive plans didn't work. After the migration I was bombarded with the $60-$85/mo "deals" in self-serve, but I end up churning a few medium tab phones with my current plan instead, lol.

I would have thought the same until I saw Koodo offer $15 for 10gb addon. My wife got the text msg yesterday and she migrated on that $40/6gb plan and is using her 6gb. Lol. It’s somewhat of another gift for her, the data addon she received yesterday that is.

So the one time $25 is stackable with the monthly $1 referral? Thanks.
RFD Score:
Koodo $40/6GB PM migration plan;
Public Mobile $8 50/50 limited talk/text plan;
3GB LTE data monthly plan $15 - Fido;
Self-propelled gas mower $120 - Sears;
2-stage snowblower $399 - Lowes;
Iphone 6s outright $22 - Koodo.

Nice find - Not quite announced yet.

Very nice when combined with the 6x$10 for plans over $30 promo

To be clear, this replaces the $10 referral credit for the new account. You don't get both. The person referring gets a bonus $25 credit but also gets to retain to $1 / 30day credit.

Please be discreet about this kind of stuff. No need to show off in the public and have Koodo read about it.

It would be a crazy deal if the new activation got the $25 as an extra on top of the $10, plus $10 x 6, auto pay data bonus and $2 off... One of the OPs for the Public Mobile deals should update and aggregate all the ongoing deals and present the math when everything is stacked together.

It should also be noted since this plan has not been announced yet, we don't know the details as how to get it. I am referring to the usual process of activating online or in store. Last time this promo was done it was online only, but the 6x$10 promo was also one or the other (I forget which) but now that promo does not have that limitation, it can be activated wherever.

Updated
now announced - ONLINE ONLY
