Mine was 3,000 but it might be different based on previous membership usage.
Maybe just buy a bag for 3 cents?

3000 for me - says in fine print you have to shop there and buy at least something by October 21st in order to actually get them?

"points will be automatically applied to your account when you load the offer and shop on or before October 21, 2020..."

But then it says no purchase necessary...

3k, thanks BestOffer.

What do you guys think is the best redemption?
Block of cheese ($8ish) was like 2000 the other day.

Those statements completely contradict one another. They said that I need to shop, but purchase is not necessary. Does that mean I need to at least go to browse in the store? I'm very confused -- and a confused mind does not buy.
Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

More rewards are giving free 3,000 points.
Need to load the offer going here before Oct 21: myoffers.saveonfoods.com
Then, shop anything before Oct 21 to get 3,000 points.

I don't know if I can quote a 3rd party website here, but you can search in Google "best redemption value for More Rewards program miles" or something like that.
Generally, it's redemption for Canucks tickets ($0.58 cents per point), redemption for travel through More Rewards (over $0.40 cents per point), redemption for BC Ferry rides ($0.23 cents per point). I think generally using the miles to get goods in store isn't the best value, but there are exceptions like the block of cheese (promo specific).

Got the 3000 points offer. The points value for this rewards program is terrible and everything at SOF is overpriced. The only time I ever go is when there are hot deals in the my offers. They had 2x 113g Dove soap bars for 99 cents combined with $1 off coupons a while back which was a steal deal.

Agree with this. Although I've had very very lousy experiences with more rewards travel so I would not recommend it. Because of this the points aren't really worth much to me.
