Hey Terry, It is actually legit. I usually use RFD for their contest and freebies categories, but I thought I'd post a few really good deals I had. To be fair, they are completely biased since I work for the company. But I figured spread the deals, so what the hey.

I cannot speak for everyone, but I believe it is better to disclose the fact that you work for the company upfront would have been better received.

Personally, I would say that naturally nothing wrong posting a deal for the company you work for - assuming you are not the owner (as the owner should subscribe to the ad listing); if the deal is genuine and is a good deal itself. Again, just make sure proper disclosure is provided.

Canada Computers has a refurb of this model for $229, https://www.canadacomputers.com/product ... _id=124304

One sale the refurb is ~$199 IIRC from CC.

Cons:
3.42lbs, no USB type C charging, I think the screen is glossy

Pros:
Looks nice, 1080p screen, quad core CPU whereas most entry CBs use a dual core CPU.

I think this is a better deal, https://www.canadacomputers.com/product ... _id=132784

720p screen but it is antiglare, 3lbs, usb type charging, dual core CPU, 16GB storage.
I workout to get big so I can pickup bricks and ****.

Issue with that is per RFD rules, you cannot advertise. There might be a fine line though between advertising, and sharing a deal from the place you work at...

There are also other sites with OB/Refurb units at $240-250 with full 1-yr warranty too. So not really a good deal anyway.
