34" 21:9 Display with PS4?

Not getting full screen resolution with HDMI and if I modify the settings on the panel get a stretched view that doesn't look the greatest.

What should I be using here to get full use of the screen?

Are your cutscene still 2k? I find the cutscene goes back to 1080p with black bars on the sides.

Yes cutscenes are 16:9 with black bars. Not good for immersion.

PS4 specs call for "HD output at 720p, 1080p and 1080i". I imagine the aspect ratio built in is 16:9, so at 21:9, you get stretching. Consoles are not PC's in terms of flexibility and the games are probably coded to match.
