People joke about Facebook being a deep cover service offered for free by the NSA/FBI for spying, but here we have a service offered directly by the world's largest surveillance state for your private communications and you're the one PAYING for it. Seems like a pretty crap deal OP in that context; if CCP is going to spy on my phone usage, lest I talk about Hong Kong or Winnie The Poo, they should be the ones paying for it.

More or less agree with you on this.. minus the Facebook deep cover service :-) People have to think about how they will spend their $ and support which companies.
