Are you in bell Internet DSL 5 plus plans
Fibe 15/10 and Fibe TV and ($13.95) home phone. I hate both, but now I just have Bell, and it feels better not having to pay Rogers.

I called Bell today and was offered Fibe 15 with 100gb per month and "new, faster modem" for $43.95 (less $4.00 with bundle as I also have phone with Bell). This is for 12 months. I had Fibe 12 with 40gb/mo. and was paying $38.86 with the 30% discount being offered after the holidays, so I am pretty happy with more than double monthly gb. I couldn't get the unlimited promotion for $10 because I don't have tv even though I also have a cell plan with them.

It's an RFD unspoken rule not to link dealers/etc to the RFD website about a hot deal, this is probably how Rogers *****ed over retentions

I just got Fibe 15/10 today. Lool same upload speed as my old Fibe 6.
Did you get a new modem? I called in today and got Fibe 15 and was told that I would need a new modem for improved speeds and also that it would take 2 days for all the changes to take effect. I had fibe 12.

Yea they installed a new bulky black one. For some odd reason the speeds are lower when I use an ethernet cable.

I can't sign up yet but he said he will keep it recorded on my account so when I do switch ill get that offer. Unlimited net seems great

I'm on a 8 month plan, first month free and $51.95/month for Fibe 25/10. and.. 395 gigs/month bw :D

Even if i gotta pay extra.. I love it.. My speeds are insane.

This is on my laptop, and behind router with Qos on..

Even at $70/month.. I'll probably keep it.. The connection is so fast and STABLE (unlike rogers). Its a winner for me. Rogers could offer FREE internet to me, and I wouldn't take it.. Its about time bell got something right.. not to say they're not horrible.. but atleast they're starting to compete.

If you are on the fence about cable modem.. its worth checking out fibe internet.. I am pissed that I didnt' switch sooner

Are any of the students packages still available for new customers? Or is the only deal the standard one on the website for new customers now?

no such thing as too much...

all media is slowly becoming more and more HD which means more GB.

I started getting FLAC audio files instead of regular mp3s and let me tell you that in the future 300gb will be very little.

(unless you watch youtube and browse facebook :D )

Same boat as you. Going to have same Bell package installed this week. Cancelling Rogers. Got multiple calls from Rogers Retentions offering insane deals, but I declined. I rather pay a little bit more but have a stable connection. I can't even browse internet during peak hours with Rogers 35/3 package. Fingers crossed that Bell works out for me.
