Same boat as you. Going to have same Bell package installed this week. Cancelling Rogers. Got multiple calls from Rogers Retentions offering insane deals, but I declined. I rather pay a little bit more but have a stable connection. I can't even browse internet during peak hours with Rogers 35/3 package. Fingers crossed that Bell works out for me.
I honestly can't imagine going with cable for that very reason. I've always had DSL and it has always been consistent and reliable.

I already cancelled my service with Bell (notice given 2 weeks ago) and will be going with another DSL service provider. I missed Bell's call yesterday, which I assume was to try to retain my internet business. Will keep everyone posted if they call back.

called to cancel bell last week...they called back today and offered fibe 25/10/unlimited for $43 plus tax and $9.95 for home phone instead of $35 . So $53 for both with all the features I have now is OK. I will be calling Rogers to cancell the 8 year deal...

Nice. It's a shame they didn't offer me this when I told them I was willing to pay mid-40s for at least 15/10/150gb. Now I'm only willing to pay mid-30s. C'est la vie. They have yet to call me back.

Now that is a deal I can accept from Bell.

From this month I am paying $72 for phone and 15/10 100GB internet. Before that I paid $50 for phone and 25/10 100GB.

Being looking for a better deal but with no success.

Agreed.
I'm on 25/10/125gb and I'm paying 39.95 plus tax, and 9.95 for home phone.
Would definately pay an extra $4 for unlimited.

Is it because of the speed throttling?

What was the process you went through to get to this price? Loyalty, retentions? Or just a regular agent?

I am with Rogers on their internet Lite plan and have no home phone. Can I ask them to match this offer and add the homephone.

Has anybody renewed with Bell with The Fibe 12 plan from last year and retained there additional 40GB free or was it switched to additional 25GB free instead of the 40GB.? Bell said the don't offer the 40GB free anymore. I figured the 40GB is grandfathered since it was in the original plan, and it should still be 40GB instead of 25GB. Comments anyone? Thank You.

Who can offer better deals, loyalty or retentions? I'm thinking of adding Fibe TV to get the $10 unlimited but will try and get a better deal.
