Thanks a lot! Called in and first they tried to offer me 25/10 125G for 43.36 after bundle (47.36 before bundle). I mentioned my "friend" who got the 39.95 and the rep said he found it, they apparently call it an ongoing 18$ off.
Result turned out to be 25/10 100G ongoing (long as I stay with them of course) for 39.95 after/43.95 before 4$ bundle discount. He included 1 year free 25 gig so its 125G in total, and I'm free to cancel the 25 gig after 1 year

^That's nice to hear.

I wanted to get the Fibe25 $39.95 package but they don't have Fibe in my area even though I live in a relatively new five year old townhouse community in Scarborough. I asked them about when it would be available and they couldn't see any information regarding my area (M1L 0C8). Stuck with the fastest they offer: Bell Internet 5 (the student plan with 270GB + free 40GB) for now $38.95. :(

I got Fibe 50/10 for $49.95 and one time credit of $30. I think Fibe 50 is a good deal, because you essentially get extra 75gb for $10, even before considering the speed advantage. I don't see any reason to get unlimited as even when I try, I just cannot go over 130GB (and I download A LOT!).

I really like Bell now, I like their customer service and reps in particular. I like that the reps speak proper english and are really friendly.
Still some glitches, but hey, the competition sucks too :) Speaking of glitches, I have also been really happy with the "technical" performance. Things are fast, and stay fast. I basically quit Rogers from a good deal EARLY because they had 2 days down in my area. I called them asking for credit, after much discussion, they said they will credit me 2 days! I'm like NO, I'm paying for reliability, and having internet is worth more when you are relying for it to be there to do business (I work from home some times). Anyway much happier now.

I just got the deal today by chatting with a rep on Bell.ca $43.95(on going)+$30(unlimited)
Anyway, I ended up with Rogers by paying $260+tax early cancellation fee. Ouch!
I tried the online chat but they told me I had to call in because I have an IPTV (I have FibeTV) account and the rep on chat only dealt with DSL...

Did you have the same experience?

No, the online chat rep was able to offer me the deal (Fibe 25/10 $43.99).

^as far as i know it is possible (internet has to be downgraded to zero rated or something, which is i think 5/1 with no usage) but im not sure how familiar reps are with it

This worked for me but my reasoning was that I hated how when I was watching FibeTV, my internet service was made slower. At first I zero-rated and got another ISP but then I went back to Bell and had them setup a second line so I could have the full speed on the second line and zero-rate the first. This process was very difficult and I have billing errors 4/5 of the last months. I would not recommend this way unless you're willing to call and correct them each month. I'm hoping that this month its good as they said they have fixed it to be ongoing.

It seems like my extra "student" bandwidth has rolled over to June. Supposed to end on May 31st. Wonder is everybody else with student plan experience the same thing.

are you still getting the price discount also?

i got an email a few months ago tellling me that the extra bandwidth would stay on the account as long as i didnt change my plan. My discount ($9) ends in July, i was wondering if anyone knows if they will be extending the student discount?

Anyone almost off the Bell Student plan (390 GB $52.95/month) and who will continue getting the $14/month credit (or more back)?

Would this be the number to call and should I ask to be transferred to the loyalty / customer retention department?

Thanks in advance.

I was told to call a month before my promo period ends. I'm moving to Electronic Box if I don't get at least the same $14/month discount.

The Bell representative told me it was too soon two months ago to be asking for 20-30-40% promotions. Not even sure they're still giving these kind of discounts out.
