I was told to call a month before my promo period ends. I'm moving to Electronic Box if I don't get at least the same $14/month discount.

The Bell representative told me it was too soon two months ago to be asking for 20-30-40% promotions. Not even sure they're still giving these kind of discounts out.
when is your month up? and when will you be calling? mine ends in July

I just chatted with a representative and I was told July 11 was when my current offer/promotion is up.

He says Bell can't see what promotional offer will be instore until after my current promotional offer ends.

I guess I'll have to give Bell a go for 1-2 months and see if any offers kick in.

I called Bell and told them about my low speeds and they offered me unlimited usage for $10 more. I'm currently on Fibe 25/10.

hey all,
moving to a new house the 2nd week of July. Was wondering if anyone knew a Bell deal for new customers (at least Fibe TV/Internet). If a promotion is required to get a phone line as well then so be it

Any package deals for new customers that I can reference aside from the regular 6 month price reduction deals listed on the bell site?

I just got this in my inbox this evening and it may help:

Great news! The extra 250 GB of usage you’ve been enjoying each month with your Bell Internet service is now being extended for as long as you remain on your current Internet plan.

With the extra 250 GB of Internet usage, you can continue:
• Downloading more of your favourite music
• Uploading more photos and videos
• Streaming more online content like TV shows and movies, and so much more

Best of all, you don’t need to do a thing – the extra 250 GB is yours to enjoy each month. Extra usage is just one more way we’re dedicated to bringing you the best Internet experience possible.

Some conditions apply. See full details.*

*Current as of May 10, 2013. Available to current residential Internet customers in Québec and Ontario with an account in good standing and who receive this email, where access and technology permit. Subject to change without notice; not combinable with other offers. Taxes and restrictions apply. Depending on your Internet plan, the usage exceeding the additional 250 GB/mo. will be up to $2.50/additional GB (max. $80/mo.). Facebook is a registered trademark of Facebook, Inc. Twitter is a registered trademark of Twitter, Inc.
I had the same email and now they charged my standard pricing which is 75/month. What horrible service! First they say it will not expire and now it expired. Called in, CSR didn't know ANYTHING. I guess I will have to speak to a manager about it.

How did your bill get that high? I was only getting $14 credit per month. Without the credit, my bill would have been $66.95 before taxes. I forgot to request for cancellation sooner so I will have my final bill prorated about 1/3 of the monthly fee.

I'm moving over to Electronic Box since new student plan discounts don't come out until August and knowing Bell, may exclude currently customers.

EDIT:

Yes, $77, is probably what I would be paying each month after tax.

That email is just to inform you that if you stay with Bell, you get 390 GB of bandwidth each month. It doesn't say you will get the recurring $14 beyond your 8-month period.

Hey guys! just wanted to tell you that if you call to cancel, reps are able to give you
$18 credit from 61.95 , then $4 more if you have a bundle. so if you get 25/10 youll get it for $39.95

I think that is YMMV as I tried twice -- a month and half before and 3 weeks before my 8-month period was up but they couldn't do anything so I will be switching to Electronic Box. The original price is $66.95 for my student plan so I'm not sure how you got $61.95 as your base but good for you. :)

Called yesterday to cancel and was offered the exact same deal.
And TV Better package was offered at $81.xx before bundle discount.

just called and was offered the 15/10 for $33 and change and top anglo fibe tv package at 33.22 but the catch was that any change to my current student 325gb plan will remove the bandwidth. decided to tough it out and keep paying 56 for 325gb.
