As luck would have it.... main tv broke this morning, the dreaded no picture but yes sound issue... probably some board blew since it made a high pitch whirling sound a few times before it really died. Bit the bullet and managed to get a 55" X850D from London drugs... looks like alot of people got that one?

For the 6290 is there any way to confirm that I'm actually streaming 4k Netflix? Is there an info button on remote?

HI everyone, I'm trying to decide between the Samsung KU6290 and the Vizio M model.

Can anyone provide their insight? Both TVs have their pros and cons on Rtings so I'm having a tough time deciding what would be best for a living room environment.

Out of curiosity, how are you guys hauling your 65" TVs home? Do you lay them flat in your SUV glass side up or do you have enough height to transport the screen veritically.

Source is now sold out of the 60 inch 6290.

I try to stand upright. Otherwise it's upright at an angle and someone holds it in the back seat to prevent it from moving. I'll be using a Jeep Liberty to move it.

So I moved my 65" in my friends RAV4 laying flat with some carpet for padding. Fit with room to spare and survived the short 5km trip. Phew!

It's the same panel, but KU6300 has a bluetooth, which KU6290 doesn't have. Based on I read, everything else is the same.

I would be interested to see, even with KU6290 being declared the crown jewel of the deals, how many would return the TV in Jan?
If I remember, the industry stats were that even door-crashers suffer 10-15% returns

No, the 6300 also has the smart remote. That in itself is a big difference. The smart remote works very well.

No, the 6290 has the smart remote. Bluetooth is the only difference.
