Personally not worth the hassle of having an international number for myself, but good deal for those who can live with it.

This type of sim is meant to be primarily used in Mexico. If you use it mainly in Canada, you will most likely get cut off after a while.

Athough my experience was with T-Mobile USA, my line did get cut off for using it in Canada the majority of the time, however it took them 2.5yrs to catch on. After that, I just cancelled that line and resubscribe a new line using the same account.. and its still working after 1.5yrs. Obviously cannot be used as benchmark, but just my experience.

Bad service...

Poor reputation...

Down voting this without any real-world knowledge about the service and/or company, just based on assumptions...

So typical for RFD's mum's kitchen keyboard warriors... So much released negativity...

Down voting should be banned on threads same way it's banned on reply posts..

Keepgo pricing is per year, not per month. And you can rollover unused data into future years

As mentioned, not bad if you're travelling within North America. Also looks like it covers Central America and the Caribbean too.
Could be handy for some people that travel frequently throughout the continent/region.

But if you're using 5GB/month on keepgo, it will cost you $88/month vs $15/month on Mexican SIM

Debating using this with a hotspot device as a pseudo ISP for the cottage?
6 months of service at 17GB/month for $200. ($33.33/month)

Anyone have experience in trying something similar before?

Too bad they don't offer esim. Dual Sim phone with a talk and text from a local carrier paired with cheap lte from these guys would have made this a killer deal

Tracing you back to a Mexican number is cumbersome for law enforcement because the warrant will have to be executed for a tap in Mexico. Otherwise they can only use the stingray device which is location restricted (flower van parked in neighborhood).
