You need to have the 7-Eleven app on your phone and be registered with a 7Rewards account, because they will need to scan a barcode from that.

No worries. Just thought that more people might find your thread if posted under groceries next time.

Did you guys see in APP today (where you get deals) ... new thingy appeared ... 7Rewards program is changing etc ...

For details you can click on it and read ...

In a nutshell (most important thing I noticed) ... - You'll have to make a transaction with 7Rewards ... at least once in 90 days ... -- or you will lose your "points and stamps", if you don't.

I think they said, currently it's "once in 365 days" (or something like that).

Those changes are coming in effect in the beginning of July ... July 6 or 8 or something like that.

Yup, 7-11 seems to be going into "Starbucks mode", watering down rewards.
Their first move is to claw back any points you have if you don't buy a qualifying item for 90 days.

Just wonder if they could do a history of what we bought in the store date time and product
Then that would be easy for people who don't shop 711 most of time

They could easily add that feature to the app, a lot of other apps show a purchase history. At a guess they won't though because doubt about points expiring would encourage many to shop; more at 7-11.

Got a new email from 7-11 about further rewards clawbacks. @Darkman mentioned that 7-11 will now delete our points if we go 91 days without a 7-11 purchase.

Now they are also reducing the number of points we earn by 60%.
For every qualifying $1 spent at 7‑Eleven stores with app or card scan upon purchase you will earn 10 points instead of 25.
So I'll be spending at least 60% less in their stores.
