Joystick / Selfie with Slurpee game for 50 points / daily is back on seemingly!

Not sure when it started ... but it's on.

My mother and me both just earned 50 points each ... the points got awarded instantly basically ... or after refreshing the app.

Enjoy while last ..... :)

Not sure if the Joystick came with update or not ... I'd guess the older app versions would get the Joystick as well.

I think when they want the game on ... they can just start across the board ... regardless of app version.

P.S.

I should actually check out what's that "Rebates" all about.

And ... Too bad I signed up "my people" already ... or could have tried the "Refer a Friend" thingy :)

You get 1000 points for referral of a friend, seemingly.

I didn't realize points expired after 90 days with no activity on the card/account. I'm out 4200 points. :(

^ ^ ... they stated in one of their recent emails ... that because of COVID points expiry won't be occurring ... (for now anyhow) ... so not to worry about points expiry, currently anyhow.

Anyone else is having problem with receiving today / yesterday points?

I see I created this thread on Saturday ... around 9:43 pm my Central time. That's when I got my 50 points ... almost instantly.

Today / On Sunday ... I tried around NOON (figured it's now another day, so let me try) ... and after sharing the pic ... 50 points didn't award. (not instantly ...not a bit later).

So I wrote it off to it not being 24 hours yet ... since getting the 50 points on Saturday.

So ...... I forgot to do it right after 9:43 pm Central time on Sunday ... and just did it now - at around 11:20 pm Central time Sunday ... -- same thing though .. shared as always (the pic) ... but the points didn't get awarded again :(
It said like always (both times today) ... "Congrats on 50 points, come back tomorrow for another 50 points" ... but nothing got awarded.

I only got the original 50 points ... on Saturday .. but not today / on Sunday.

Anyone else?

Same. Points updated Saturday but not Sunday.

When is the cut off time for a day? Midnight local time? For when they have those daily deals/promos, it always seem to go by local time.

Yep ... it's working today ... 50 points got added up ... for both me and my mother.

But yesterday none of us got 50 points, I guess ... We'll see what happens tomorrow ... LOL -- maybe points get physically awarded every 2nd day :D

I logged into my 7eleven account and realized my points expired. 0. Even though they sent an email saying they will extend the expiration date for points expiry. So I emailed them and they gave me 2000 points :). I had about 1730 points. So that was a nice little bonus. Enough for a hot dog.

Seems like those 50 points are being awarded inconsistently ... on a continuous basis (and not just that one day, mentioned in earlier posts above).

Anyone else?

Some day the app awards those points (and instantly at that) ... but some other days it does not. Yesterday for example it awarded the points, but not today.

P.S.

And if you are always succeeding somehow ... Do you wait full 24 hours after previous successful attempt ... or it doesn't have to be 24 hours to try again, as long as it's the next day already (example - one successful attempt at 6 pm yesterday ... and then trying and succeeding again, say, at 11 am today)? :)

Yeah, some days when I share the photo and then go back to the main page, the points don’t update. So I usually try again later that day. I don’t think it works though.

I just tried right now, and I got the points to add.

I don’t know what clock/time zone the app is on. Usually I try every calendar day, if I remember.

I do remember that recently I tried the selfie where it was before midnight my time but already midnight in the east. And I had already got points within the last 24 hours. And it went through.

I just try as often as I can.

I believe if you play the game it keeps your account active, unless you only noticed when you went in to play the game.

Worked this AM ....for both me and my mother.

Strange stuff. As if they don't want you to physically earn points on EVERY day. So it's hit and miss really.

In the past... Similar Slurpee game did award on every single day.

So I did the selfie at 130am pacific time, and I got the 50 points.

I just tried now at 10pm pacific time, and I got another 50 points.

I have no idea what determines when and why you get the 50 points.

Maybe they go by Eastern Time ... and then you got your two 50s over two separate days ...

1:30 am pacific = 4:30 am eastern (the same day)

10 pm pacific = 1 am eastern time (two different days already .... talking about 2 eastern time 50s) :)

who knows though ... as I am just trying to guess.
