[7 Eleven] Speakout - $25 unlimited talk and text + 3GB data

First time posting on the hot deals section -

$25 unlimited talk and text + 3GG data for 30days. This is also on prepaid and looks like much cheaper than Public Mobile / Lucky Mobile.

Speakout uses Rogers network so coverage shouldn't be an issue. Enjoy!

Do I care?
It's only for two months.

On another note: Freedom Prepaid (canada-wide) is offering T+T+4GB for $34. I didn't post it because I figure there will be one-sentence snarky keyboard warriors. This is Canada-wide plan, not the home & away plan. PM gives 5GB for $38.

It also has data overage which comes out to $100/1gb. "Data usage over your Plan amount within 30 days from activation date will be charged at $0.10 per 1MB."

I will not go with any provider which has data overage charge. I will stay with PM.

For the price, SO can't be beat, but after 3 years with SO, I switched my sons' 2 phones from SO to PM. Sometimes SO doesn't work well with iPhones--iMessage gets messed up, and messages wouldn't get sent unless the phones were connected to wifi, and wouldn't send them sms. SO acknowledges this is an issue without a data plan for sending sms messages. However, my in-laws iPhones work fine, so who knows, although sometimes I get their messages up to 20 minutes after they are sent. What I do know is that one of my sons was locked out of the house in the fall and couldn't contact me because the message failed to send, which, if you look at the Edmonton forecast for this week, is not a problem I wanted to have again.
