7-eleven whole pizza

I live across the street from a 7-eleven. After 2 years I still have not had the courage to try their cooked food.

Particularly, I want to try their whole frozen pizza, but I am very scared to do so without any encouragement

Any positive reviews out there?

Ask them if their slices are the same as their whole pizza. If they say yes, then buy a slice. If you like it, then try the whole pizza. If not, then maybe don't bother.
(I'm pretty sure it's the same, but I could be wrong...)
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

what kind of expectation do you have ? It's not a Michelin star eatery.

Also tried their pizza slice-depends on location. I will never again eat the slices at the College & Spadina location but the slices at the Spadina & Bloor location are okay.

It'll be less about location but more about how long it's been in the cabinet.

Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

Over the years, I have tried a lot of 7-eleven's food:

- Pizza slice/whole: Good for 1st slice, ok for second, anything more than 2 slices just gives me a weird taste in my mouth. In the past when we have ordered a full size pizza, they will take a frozen one out of their freezer and microwave-oven it for about 10 minutes I believe. They used too (I'm not sure if they still do) allow you to add select additional toppings to it from their garish section and bake it with them. (Eg. onions, olives, peppers?)

- Potato Wedges: pretty good nothing special but very edible and pretty tasty

- Meatballs on a stick: good, they seem to have a weird texture though

- Chicken Wings: To me these are very surprising but great. For the price you get large meaty wings and they usually have some unique flavours (I had honey-dill one time)

- Chicken on a stick: good equivalent to their chicken wings

- Mini-tacos: Not my thing and would pass, taste and texture is weird

- Taquito: I don't know what it is about these (I know some people love them) but to me they are the worst menu item them, would not recommend

Overall if your looking for a quick, pretty good tasting, and relatively cheap on the good food, I would recommend checking out what 7-eleven has to offer.
Just don't expect any award winning items for the price you pay.

In Japan, 7-11 is quite decent for food. I often grabbed breakfast there, as most Japanese restaurants only open for lunch/dinner. Decent quality for decent price. 7-11 in Canada usually seems quite pricey for what it is.

I want to visit one in Taiwan. I saw a video on YouTube of some guy visiting a 7-11 there and it looked very nice.

Hey everyone

I know many of you have been waiting in suspense for an update...

Well, I haven't tried it... But there's at least a 60% chance I'm gonna walk directly across the street tonight (im willing to bet that nobody reading this lives closer to a 7/11 than I do) and purchase some cooked wings and a frozen pizza.

With that said there's a 40% chance I won't be updating this post tonight.

Wings are meh too. It's phosphate chicken so they have a weird taste to them.

7-Eleven's hot foods are frozen foods cooked in their in-store toaster ovens. The same as you might do at home. In downtown Toronto the 7-Eleven hot foods seem to be popular with students.
I've had their chicken strips, taters and meatballs and they're all fine. I actually get their meatballs whenever I exit from Toronto airport on the arrivals floor as I'm waiting for my ride pickup.

My sentiments exactly!
