The standard size is 10 inch, or 9 point something.
So 7 inch is odd / small

We have a 9 inch ceramic, it meets all our usual needs
We also have a 12 inch Pyrex that we inherited...

9 inch is good for a Standard Pie
The 12 inch gets a workout on Holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas when we want a big family sized dessert

I have the standard 9" and larger..I also bought a 6" a while ago that was all I could find but it's too small, almost tart size. I'm pretty sure 7" would give me a decent size when halving a pie recipe and am surprised they're so rare. I love to bake and often halve recipes to test them....

You might try smaller cast iron fry pans though there's no broad rim and they're somewhat deeper. You'll have to find these in thrift shops though, as they're non-standard for the remaining manufacturers (only Lodge in N America).
I smile when I see container ships sailing past my house laden with stuff made in China
