Personally, I just buy my Apple Products 100% New
Cuz they stand the test of time
And I’m tough on them
Keeping them on average 5+ years

If this is the Wi-Fi only model, I don't this is a huge deal, because this is kind of close to the edu price (If you actually buy it during Summer with those gift card offer). +1 for buying a new one. (You won't need M2 unless you're very hardcore on graphic design or videography)

The one most people don’t want … also the lowest memory at just 128 GB
So the lowest rung on the ladder … hence WHY it gets CLEARED OUT FIRST when a new model is introduced.

Cheap … not exceptionally cheap
But I wouldn’t buy it as an investment piece
With any sort of longevity in mind

I’d be putting the $ 1000 towards something better

Yes, it is the Wi-Fi only model. It didn’t sound like an amazing deal to me at first as well but I also have not been able to find anything with the same specs for cheaper especially since there aren’t many brand new ones left.

If I didn't remember wrong for 2022, it was close to $1,000 for the same model (Wi-Fi + 128GB), plus you can get free engraving.

People are selling more for used one on kijiji and FB, so it is a good deal

I have the exact same model with LTE

It is a good price if it was new. For used, it is just okay.
