Not such a good deal when it has to be current-gen, as $3 trade is no joke at EB and any game I would actually trade for a Funko would be worth a $1-$2 or maybe less.
Official Response from Dollarama Management:

Dollarama has a no exchange/no refund policy, and as a result, all sales are final. This information can be found on the screen of each check-out/point-of-sale in our stores as well as on each receipt.

Guess not since down votes. Aw well, there are people that are willing to get rid of turd games that they won't be able to rid of on Kijiji for more than a funkos value. I'll keep this thread up might help a few.

Maybe look at the link? If you are going to down vote a thread, at least look at the link properly, it's the second offer

The problem is, that most of those junkers are $1-$2 on EB, and some are 25-50-cents, and others $0 and untradeable.

EB is now a virtual monopoly on trade-ins so they are hammering down hard and trying to jack gamers for every cent they own. On the last $5 Friday, while waiting in line I saw a guy bring in a big bag of PS4/Xbox One games and the EB guy was like "$1, 25-cents, 50-cents, $2, $2, we don't take it, $2.50, $3.00, we don't take it, 50-cents...." it was embarrassing to watch.

Yea that's nuts, even bestbuy gives minimum 1 dollar for a generic game. Well fortunately the people that are down voting, don't have a gun to their head to go trade in. I for one have a few funkos i want that come out soon, can put towards those preorders. Battlefront 2 comes to mind, it's at least 3 dollars and will get me a funko. I paid $2 at Walmart, beat the game and now going to bring it in for essentially 14 dollars with tax value. I am sure there are other games people bought for less than 10 bucks that's they want to get rid of that are not worth the $10 to get trade 3 get it free or towards the far cry new dawn offer (which now seems less good since Walmart is selling for 29.99 preorder making it trade 1 get a 29.99 game at ebgames, where u normally get 26.67 for the game towards a new release game or preorder.

You're under the assumption that battlefront will be a $3. Chances are it'll be $1 or $2. Only way to find out will be to go on in on Thursday.

The reason for all the down votes is because EBgames use to have it for previous Gen consoles for the exact same deal which most of them you could grab from the storage if anything.

Most if not all $3 values at EBgames could easily be sold for $15

Yep, and like I said, the EB $3 trade level is not a joke.

Probably not and EB won't even accept a lot of old sports games.
