My local AW always has 2 for $7 Mamma with cheese. I always ask for add lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, and never been charged. I have not had a $3 one yet, but I am sure I will have to drive in a couple before the sale is over.

FYI - you can add an extra patty for $1.25
They charged me $2.25 for an extra 3 oz patty last time I went, I think they charged you for a buddy burger size so it might be YMMV.

Was this before or after the $2.99 special? Because the burger is currently on sale so maybe a second patty is also at a reduced price?

Yesterday with the special. I doubt they'd reduce the price as it's just an add-on code for any 3 oz burger.

Mama burger gave me food poisoning the other day. On the plus side, it's really killed all fast food desire in January.

They come with pickles already. I ask for extra.

I think for another 74 cents i rather get another burger instead, especiallly when I can tell them to add extra veggies to both burgers

ye I agree, at that point I didn't want to change the order since it was a new cashier.

Looks like the reason we're getting cheese is because they are now using "real" cheese (as if processed cheese weren't real cheese  ). In fact many burger aficionados prefer processed cheese types because of the way it melts in comparison with alleged "real" cheese. Processed cheese doesn't separate when it melts. Grilled cheese fanatics too--most prefer processed cheese. Not knocking the deal--I'm mean it's good we get cheese!--but just saying the nonsense about processed cheese not being "real" is just that, nonsense.
Processed cheese has less actual cheese, but don’t worry they make up for the short comings with emulsifiers, vegetable oil and food coloring

This is cheaper than actual real 100% cheese.

I think I prefer the Wendy's better. They at least give you more meat and lettuce.
