As far as I know, this is Bell DSL. If Bell internet is available in your area, Acanac should be available too.
I suggest you call Acanac and order by phone.

Unable to sign-up on their web page. The Order Now button just redirects to the Check Availability page and unable to go further. I'm trying to order by phone at the moment...

I believe I read somewhere that those forums don’t exist any longer.

I qualify and have my own modem but it still requests a credit card when you click “place your order”.

Hmm... what to do... ?

I used them many years ago. They are about the same as other smaller ISP - mostly reliable service at fairly cheap price. Be warned that their promotion used to come with a catch that they will renew your subscription at the end of promotion for ONE YEAR, and they will actually charge you the whole year at once. The regular price is not bad when comparing to the regular price of Bell/Rogers/Teksavvy etc, but probably not to the RFD standard, Remember to read the term carefully and cancel before your promotion runs out.

If I do yearly plan, they will charge $119+tax even with my own modem. If I do monthly plan, it is free with my own modem. But the monthly plan may mean you only get 1-month free and you have to pay afterwards?

the web site is messed up.

on black friday the deal was $22.95 / m for DSL 25/10 Internet or $24.95/m for DSL 50/10 with 6 months free. (months 1-6 free, months 7-12 $22.95 or $24.95/m + taxes.)
If you pre-paid for the year for DSL 25/10 , the total was $119.00 for 12 months (works out to month 1-6 @ $0 , months 7-12 @ $19.84 month).
if you choose monthly billing, on month 13 cost is $49.00 (price subject to change) on monthly plan.
if you choose to pay the full year, billing on month 13 is full amount for the year ($49.00 x 12 - (prepaid discount))

dry loop fees are included for the DSL 25/10 and DSL 50/10 plans. There are dry loop fees for legacy DSL plans .

chose the monthly option and paid only 11.50 for shipping. Hopefully it doesn't mean only the first month free.

I was offered 25 down 10 up in my area (Pointe Claire, Quebec).

I was first charged 23.00 dollar for the shipping and first month’s modem rental (plus tax). This was with an agreement for a year of free internet service, but a modem rental fee of 10 dollars a month.

After some consideration, I decided to buy a secondhand modem for 40 bucks instead of paying 120 over the course of a year. They refunded my 23.00 only in Acanac credit.
