Settings are as follows:
Mode: User
Gamma: 2.2
Brightness: 27 (for 120 cd/m2)
Rgain: 47
Ggain: 50
Bgain: 51

All other settings left at default factory but feel free to adjust performance settings to taste.

Commentary: Man, this monitor calibrated really nicely second time around! Probably because I remembered a bit more of what I needed to do for set up.

Gamut coverage is 99.8% sRGB, 85.2% Adobe RGB and 90.2% DCI P3. Gamut volume is 134.5%, 92.7% and 95.3% respectively. I was able to achieve a measured whitepoint of 6480K. Colour Temp, Gamma and Grayscale all tracked well, especially for a budget screen.

Enjoy!

Wildout wrote: I just finished calibrating my monitor with a Spyder4Pro. Hooked up to a late 2013 MacBook Pro.

I was able to achieve 100% SRGB with the following settings

Mode: User
Gamma: 2.2
Brightness 23 (100 cd/m2)
Rgain: 63
Ggain: 44
Bgain: 44

Colour Temp was measured to 6514k

I didn't bother calibrating for the other colour spaces as I never use them.

I think that covers everything.

Hope that helps.

I got this monitor earlier in the year for $209.99 and I have to say it's been great. I have been using it for WFH and love it!

Should I cancel my viewsonic and switch to this one instead?

Was it a pricing error or does this monitor go cheaper than 279.99 usually?

i own this monitor and it's perfect :)

there are times tho that i kinda wished 27" its enough, but i like it i can sit a bit far back and still get a good view

its 1440p too so its not too pixelated

edit: oh yeah i got it for 209 too earlier this year and so glad i did

both my son and i have this monitor purchased during boxing day, very nice monitor with lots of real estate. WFH using just one monitor instead of two, makes it much easier moving files around on your desktop.
We are currently using a mount, much better than the stand that it comes with.

I bought this for the wife when it was $209.99 at the end of 2019. Excellent monitor. Ton of screen real estate and the 75hz and IPS is an added benefit.

even at $269 i think its still a decent deal. perfect for people WFH

I sold this monitor (used for 1.5 years) for $270 in August.

Great monitor. The only issue: the VESA mount holes are too high and don't fit my height adjustable VESA mount stand.

is 75hz enough for gaming? I see a lot of monitors being labelled as gaming monitors with 75hz.

This is a great monitor for the price. I sent one of the last deals for it to a few of my friends and they all bought one and really like it.

Depends who you are, for the last couple of decades console users have all been insisting < 30 hz is enough for gaming. :)

I had this earlier. Just too big for me. I think 27" is the sweet spot if you plan on having this on a desk.

I have this monitor.

Echoing what @Masernaut said. For those who are at multiple 23.6" or under trying to move up, please go into the store to see it first. I wish I was joking when i said this monitor is too big.

I would say on an average table, two of this would not work. Stick with two 27" unless you're happy with one. I know I am not.

It was on sale for $259 and it coincided with $50 off coupon on any purchase over $250.

I picked one up and I love it. At the time, I almost cancelled my order after reading one too many negative posts on this forum.

Let's put it this way, it is not marketed as a gaming monitor. It is suitable for certain types of games - the ones that do not have rapid screen movement.

I bought this monitor a few years ago for around this price and would recommend it. Told a few co workers about it and they ended up buying it as well and are really happy with it. The only thing is as someone else pointed out is if you plan on mounting it the vesa holes are at the top of the monitor so it will be really low but I guess you could just flip it upside down and just change the display settings in windows.

That's what I am wondering. I went to Costco few weeks ago and they have the LG 32", I tried it stand about the same distance as my desk and I found it is overwhelming. But then when I switched from 40" TV to a 55" TV, I found it was too big and then I get used to it.
