Add to contact list, default is SIM card (Android)

Every time someone sends me a contact number via Whatsapp for example, the default choice of my phone is to add the contact to the SIM card.
I don't want that, because the SIM card trunks long names and the subsequent phone numbers if the contact has more than one.

I'd like the default choice to be my Google account.

Is there a way to make it by default?

I have a Huawei P10 with Android 7.0
