Adjusting previous tax return

I bought a condo in 2017 (first time home buyer, Toronto) and my accountant never claimed the first time home buyer credit (line 369).
I am able to login to CRA online account and just adjust the return. Is this OK to do? Do I just put $5,000 in line 369?
I am on title 99% of the condo, and my father is on title for 1%... He is not a first time home buyer. Does this effect my situation?
Thanks!

Did you tell your accountant you bought a house? If you didn’t tell him, then he wouldn’t have known to claim the credit.
