adobe flash player - ransomware warning

This might be old news to some.
Earlier this week adobe announced an update to it's flash player to circumvent the latest zeroday ransomware.

Some say it affects Win10 only.

On my XP box, if you do updates from control panel, it will only update the default browser. I had to open a different browser, copy and paste the update link to update all my browsers.

Depends on your settings.
Forcing a manual update now will get the update now rather than waiting for whenever your auto updates might be set.
You are at risk until the updates are done.
FYI my default browser was set to automatically update, but I was able to force it to update now.
My other browsers had to be forced even though they were set to auto update. For example IE was sitting way back at version 17 something - current ver is 21.0.0.182.
