advice please 10700 Processor vs 10400F Processor paired with 2060/1660??

hey guys/girls, appreciate any advice

first build has a i7-10700 Processor with vPro™ (2.90 GHz, up to 4.80 GHz with Turbo Boost, 8 Cores, 16 Threads, 16 MB Cache) paired with a gtx 1660 super 6gb

2nd build has a i5-10400F Processor (2.90 GHz, up to 4.30 GHz with Turbo Boost, 6 Cores, 12 Threads, 12 MB Cache paired with a gtx 2060 6gb

which would you go for?

thanks :)

depends on what you do?

gaming? or just work stuff?

what kind of gaming? cpu intensive gaming or gpu intensive gaming? 4k? 1080p?

either way I Would go for i7 10700 and save bit more money for 3060

Neither.

AMD Ryzen chips have a much better bang for the buck than Intel for most workloads.

If just using as is, the 2nd build for sure. If the primary focus is gaming, it is 20 - 30% better on gaming. While you can't really use the CPU.

If you plan on upgrading the GPU to something 3070+ then the first build.
