Affordable winter set option for 2021 Model Y Long Range?

Hi,
I came across a kijiji posting from Toto Tire for winter set for Model Y.
It looks like they are offering 18' for Model Y, and the price seems lower cost than many other packages offered. (Mine is Long Range with 19" Gemini)
Does anyone know if:
1. 18" will be fine?
2. the tires I am thinking of is 235/55/18 Michelin X-Ice Snow SUV 104T - would this be sufficient in terms of the load capacity?
3. can't believe they are offering $220 for TPMS a set. As far as I know, Model Y requires a specific bluetooth model exclusively available from Tesla, and they are $100+ each.
I can call and ask about #3, but what do you guys think about #1 and #2?

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a good deal.
When I compare model y 19"(and not 18"), it's more less the same as a regular priced simplytire pricing guide.

TPMS is 300 at simply.

If there's a group buy for model y in GTA, I'd love to participate.

I’m also looking for options for my model Y. Right now I have performance tires 21” but more than ok to downsize to 18 if that option is available. However if there is a group buy then I’m all in

I went ahead with
R187 wheels from partsengine.ca
Continental vikingcontact 7 XL 235/55R18 from blackcircles
4 TPMS from Tesla

For the wheels, I reviewed this post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaModelY/co ... d_model_y/

You may want to hurry, I am hearing supplies are not meeting demand already, and things will go out of stock or prices will increase.

I haven't had them installed yet, still sitting in my garage.
Went with this option because the cost difference between (this set) and (19" or 20" winter tires) is minimal (after factoring in the cost of wheel swap vs changing the tires on the same wheels for 4 seasons), at the same time I get thicker sidewall, separate wheels for winter abuse, and I like the ride comfort of smaller tires (with thicker sidewalls) in general in winter season.

I will let here know after installation, but it will be sometime in October or November.

Will your overall diameter be smaller than the stock 19” wheel/tires?

If you check the reddit posting I linked, he says the radius of 245/55R18 tires is actually larger, but the difference is minimal (less than 2mm).

I need a new set of winters for Model Y performance. But I don't want Pirelli ideally I would like Michelin . Can't seem to find alot of information.

Can I size down to 20 inch and not run staggered setup? The winter tires and wheels on tesla site is sold out and it doesn't recommend to be use on the performance model Y,odd.

TPMS Bluetooth required. Tesla sells them for 100$/each. No aftermarket available.

I wasn't able to find them on the online store. Do you have a link or do you need to buy from the service center itself?

You need to call or go to a Service Center to buy them. You need the VIN of your car.

Sorry for the very late response, but I'm not aware of any other compatible 18" rim. You may want to ask in Model 3 forums. Model Y forums mostly seem to talk about 19".

Go here - http://evolutionracing.ca/
Talk to Bruno which is the main mechanic there and hes a Tesla guy he will be able to tell you what would fit safely. Lots of Tesla owners go to him for different types of service.
