Agricultural operation in Industrial Zones. Is it allowed?
Hi, I am a agriculture researcher at a university, and wondering if its possible (or legal) to conduct agricultural operations in an industrial zone.
I am thinking a warehouse type building which, if I'm not mistaken, is considered a light industrial zone, to be used for biointensive crop production, preferably in Toronto (GTA) or nearby areas.
Do I need special permits for this purpose? Or can I just go and open up shop?
Thanks
