Looks like AC has posted a deal to match WestJet.
■ Save 15% on all destinations worldwide! Book by Oct. 24
AirCanada

Details are sketchy, on the phone now as I just booked a flight to Houston and saw the update on the main page.

BS. My Xmas trip to Vancouver costs a fortune even when I adjust the fly dates to their promo date. The prices didn't change from prior to promotion.

I just booked a flight for two to Miami florida from Dec 28th to Jan 8th for $824 total (for both of us)
I found the sale to be quite impressive given that flights this time of year are typically +$600 a person.
If anyone is looking at florida flights, i would say this deal is way hot...
looking at cheapoair, you can get the flights slightly cheaper than the AC website.

Booked four international flights two weeks ago on AC - total cost then: $4500, total cost with the AC 'sale': $7100. Exact same flights.

Yesterday, my trip to Vancouver was $613. Today, it's $590.

All they did was increase the prices across the board, then "discount" it by 15%.

Savings are minimal at best for most destinations.

Yes, there may be some routes that are cheaper, but YMMV greatly.

Does Vegas have a low-season? Prices are definitely cheaper midweek.
