In addition to the 15% lowering of fares a flight that had been one rung more expensive went to the cheaper level for me. So, instead of about $165 yesterday paid around $94, so a good deal if you need to get from Sudbury-YYZ- Orlando I would say now is the time.

for the 15% off, is it already reflected in the shown price?

Anyone knows when AirCanada employee/flight attendants/pilot union contracts expire? I see good price for flight I want, but I am afraid to buy as I know that their union goes on strikes very often. Any website where they list when union contract expire? Price of ticket is just part of the package - other is hotel and other expenses and if I buy air tickets I do not want to loose other money I paid...

Weird you guys are getting those results. I priced a round trip flight to Toronto in May the other day and it was about $500. Now about $300.

Air Canada just extended their seat sales from Feb28th now good till end of june... so add on top of this and booked my flights to barbados in march and saved over $300 a ticket compared to two days ago.

Thanks for the post! Earlier sale didn't cover my travel date, but this got my YYZ-YVR trip down from $820 to $510. (+$50 for baggage, unfortunately)

Yesterday, my trip to Vancouver was $613. Today, it's $590.

All they did was increase the prices across the board, then "discount" it by 15%.

Savings are minimal at best for most destinations.

Yes, there may be some routes that are cheaper, but YMMV greatly.
+1 but it seem better than nothing

maybe it's just domestic (canada) and caribbean destinations that really do offer "real" savings.

international destinations, not so much
