LOL 15% off a base fare is the coupon they offer as compensation when your flight gets cancelled for "safety" reasons.

This public promo is 25%. Yikes.

50% of the time it works everytime.

Buckle up with flight interruption insurance offered by premium credit cards. Airport hotels in major hubs are regularly at capacity and booking over $500 per night. Airlines saying nothing is their responsibility.

Might be the worst company in Canada…
They were bad before covid.

I will avoid them as much as i can. Book international flights on different airlines. Cancel domestic travel plans whenever i can.

They need to be sued for their made up cancellation reasons… and penalized to ensure that management never pulls that bs again.

I swear....Air Canada is in d**p sh!t. If I were a shareholder, I'd be concerned.

They're being undercut so hard by Flair/Swoop and they're not even trying to compete.

Their prices range from 2.5x to 5x to the prices of tickets by Flair/Swoop.

Air Canada has a problem and that problem is they are forced into acting a certain way due to needing government bail outs. Unfortunately that way of operation means they are losing huge amounts of money even with travel returning and will likely eventually go bankrupt without more tax payers money. They need a new CEO immediately. I believe it was over 200 million lost last quarter when travel is supposed to be recovering.

Terrible, their prices are still $100+ over low-cost carriers with this coupon. Big yikes on this so-called "deal".

$253 million operating loss

Air Canada Struggles To Handle Q2 Demand But Cuts Losses
In a little over three months, Air Canada has gone from virtually grounded to around 80% of 2019 operating levels, and the cracks are showing.
https://simpleflying.com/air-canada-str ... ts-losses/

"In its second-quarter (Q2) results released on Tuesday, Air Canada reported passenger revenue of C$3.441 billion, eight times higher than in Q2 2021 and 80% of Q2 2019. Total revenue surged from C$837 million in Q2 last year to C$3.98 Billion. The airline's second-quarter operating loss was C$253 million, a dramatic improvement on the C$1.13 billion it lost in Q2 2021. The Q2 2022 net loss was C$386 million compared to the net loss of C$1.165 billion from last year."

Sorry I edited my post to say million not billion. 200 million in a quarter is a catastrophe.
