I am trying to book a domestic flight for Jan 16th and it is saying the promo code is valid but not applicable for that flight. Doesn't seem to make sense and it fits the criteria.

Might be the return date, other than that I would call AC customer service as they are open now 24/7. Waiting time last I've heard was long though, if you got the patience!

Yes, unfortunately it seems like airlines are recovering pretty fast with high demand. They have indeed given us limited choices. This is good if you were already planning on traveling on non blacked-out dates!

Good deal but fly at your own risk.

Had a direct flight coming back home get cancelled back in August, spent hours on hold only for an agent to tell me that my only options to rebook were in a week + I would need to sleep overnight at an airport. They essentially left me stranded in the U.S.

Was lucky that I was staying with the GF and she was able to drive me back on the weekend (about a 6 hour drive).

Worst part is I'm still fighting tooth and nail for a refund. Air Canada has to be one of the sleaziest, scummiest airlines that exists.

I prebooked flight using all aeroplan pts.. If I cancel booking.. Do I have to pay penalty fee of 470$ it's telling me? That's alot of fees!

required.

Air Canada Gift Card, Travel Voucher or eCoupon
Cancellation fee
Base fare$450.00
Goods and Services Tax - Canada - $22.50
Balance
CA $ 472.50

You can do much better than $380 to LAS in Jan. A good price would be closer to $200-230 RT, per person. Check WestJet. They have 25% off, and have way better prices to LAS right now.

Prices of flights are pretty cheap as-is already. The 30% off is only on the base fare, which may represent a small part of the fare "for Canada, the U.S. and sun destinations" if you're already going after the cheapest economy flights.

True. Looked at a $500 flight YYZ-LAS-YYZ. $350 air plus $150 taxes and fees.

Looking for a roundtrip deal to LAS during EDC week (May 18-23)... prices seem to be around 400-500 and aren't getting any lower. Should I just book now?

"hot to people that have already booked and are able to rebook with the promo."

So can a promo code be applied on an online booking that was made last week?

How would one go about this, call Air Canada?
