You still got your 1000 BAM after all.
you Just had to stress a bit, and do a 5-10 minutes chat.
That's like saying i did 10 shopping and they were for nothing.

What I mean is that instead of buying $50 of something that I will use someday, I could've bought something that i use in coming week/month.

Nope. 5 identifiable transactions from Airmileshops all posted correctly. 100 bonus. Talked to them and got the extra 900 right away.

Amazon is a special case - they have a lot of excluded categories.

Happened to me too. But somehow they can see it on their end manually even tho I dont see it under my transaction.
For my case, my Rona is posted as regular store purchase and rep fixed it for me. Credit missing 700miles on the fly.

You could have ... but you didn't.
It was your choice to do a 6th offer just in case.

The reason some people do more offer is to increase the chances to get the bonus automatically (without having to contact airmiles).
It is a personal choice, as only doing 5 offers should be enough.

But that being said ...
Yep, you could have bought something else.

;-)

At least, you got the full bonus ...

This is true. For me, my choice was NOT to do a 6th offer for 2 reasons.

I was missing the Canada Post right from the start of the promo but I knew I did the purchase correctly, so I felt confident that it would either come through eventually or the amazing Air Miles chat support would easily correct it (based on past couple of promos, and again for this promo).

Secondly, the amount of bonus points at jeopardy didn't seem to justify doing the unneeded extra spend nor the time/energy. Admittedly though, I thought it was for an extra 500 miles, and now realize it was actually for 700 miles. Oops.

Confirmed 2 of 5 did not post, so I just got off chat, where they credited the remaining 2 and added the 1000 AM.

Pretty painless really. Well other than having to spend some time getting these miles.

I shopped at 5 stores and only 4 shops posted as airmileshops.ca purchases.
I sent them an email about receiving 300 instead of 1000air miles and was able to get extra 700 credited back on to my account.

Good luck everyone!

Both Canada Post/Microsoft (gift cards) didn't post. I live chat today and was given the 700. Even though it's a pain in the @ss, I never do extra shops. They usually fix it. If you did it correctly (I screenshot every page of the shop) and keep receipts, there really is no need to. You would think that after going through this promo after promo they would fix the tracking system. They must love the complaints and extra work.

But are incorrect.
Just got 300 AMs for 3 AirMiles Shops.ca Retailers
When I shopped @ 5 Retailers
Thank Goodness all my individual miles posted properly, so it will be easy to prove there were 5
I had the same thing happen. Going through live chat now. Chat took about 5 minutes and they said the 700 ams would be added to my account.

Thanks to everyone who suggested going through live chat! Only 3 of my 5 transactions posted, but was able to get everything resolved through chat and got the full 1000 credited to my account.

+1. Thanks everyone!

4 minutes on chat and I got my 1 AM not posted from CanadaPost (August 8th order!) and 700 missing AMs!
