Alert function not working

I got an alert for something and when I click on the link, it takes me to a page that says:

Information
You are not authorised to read this forum.

But I'm logged in and my subscriptions are working.. I just can't view the thread that has the alert.

Sounds like the alert did work, but the thread was quickly removed for some reason. If you'd like me to look into it please send me a PM.
