Looks to be a decent value for a rugged phone. A rugged phone is for a very specific set of use cases. Can't fairly be compared to a non-ruggedized phone.

Not your standard VoIP. Different and novel options & advice for my RFD friends.

Gotta like how the OP spelled it out clearly in the original post that this phone belongs to a completely unique class of smartphone yet from here on in peeps will keep posting "better deals" that are non-ruggidized to compare with.
If you don't need a ruggidized phone of course there are dozens of other better deals, but if you do need this type of phone then this deal is pretty good deal. When I see someone post another ruggidized phone deal to compare with then I'll take that seriously.
The Moto is a great non-ruggidized phone but to compare it to the Uliphone is like comparing a Rav4 to a Raptor - both have power to all four wheels, both are great rides in their own right but they are not interchangeable and are used for completely different purposes.

Are the frequencies/coverage good for canada? (specifically telus/public mobile)

Are there any cheaper rugged phones? Perhaps non-smartphones. Just need something basic to make calls

not cheaper but if you want better band coverage for 4G in Canada you'd move up to the $133CDN model. 3GB RAM, 32GB storage

Or anyone into outdoors type stuff.
I can see this being useful for ATV'ing, offroad motorcycling, MTB, skiing, etc.

Alternatively, with the current ebay coupons, SONIM (I think the original brand for rugged phones?) are at decent prices right now (and with the ebay bucks that ends today I think)

Not sure if this is the thread to post my concern but has anyone received their Moto G6 phone; I purchased mine on Dec. 24, 2019 and although it said "Free Shipping - Delivery within 3-6 working days CAD: 0" in order confirmation, I haven't heard a word in over 3 weeks. Thank for comments :)
