DrAlex wrote: Hi, I ordered G1W-C, looking for a 32 GB flash card for it.

This seems to be a good deal:

however, I was reading reviews that not every Class 10 card will work with this G1W-C.

Can anyone confirm?
The consensus is stay away from SanDisk, just about every 4gb, 8gb,16gb, 32gb Class 10 MicroSD should work.

Mine came almost fully charged so was able to power up and go through menus without charging it.

Thanks OP. I had to buy another dashcam because I hate pulling my dashcam from one car to another. I also purchased the step up filter and CPL filter from what Matrixvibe have as his set up. $50 well spent, looking forward for it to come!

Just incase if anyone is buying anything from eBay, make sure to use Great Canadian Rebates to save 4%.

Btw, OZCARDVR is the newer code which you can get the dashcam for $39.99, I think the one posted on thread 'G1WHDVR' has already expired.

You can use something like this.....

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/YEC-SD20 ... 73594.html

It takes 12V in and puts out 5V / 3A to a USB female port. There are other places that sell this as well. I attached the 12V wires,, wrapped the unit in duct tape and double faced taped it to the windshield where the glass meets the headliner behind the black dots.

I'd like to use the add-a-circuit fuse tap. How do I go about finding out what I need for my particular vehicle?

There are 2 styles of automotive blade-style fuses (regular and mini). I would suggest buying one of each, they're under $5 each.

Any idea if the G1WC retains the date/timestamp information when shut-off for more than 15mins? I'm getting conflicting reports and would like to know from someone who owns the device?

Would you guys recommend one of these:

http://www.amazon.ca/adapter-cigarette- ... pd_cp_ce_2

or

http://www.amazon.ca/Daffodil-CAP102-Sp ... 7JX2BAPP66

http://www.directcanada.com/products/?s ... re=Capdase

Racermount T2 from capdase also seems good... .anyone try?

As a alternative solution, cheaper than going to mechanic to have wiring redone for dashcam power

At this point, pretty much everything in this thread is becoming a repost. ;)
The code on Page 140 is a repost of #1638 on page 110...
