Currently using the UMIDIGI F1, which I bought from Amazon, unbelievably good for the price! Camera is average, rest everything is top notch.
I’m not cheap……I’m frugal!!!

S3 Pro is $279usd MSRP. If you could get that for 40% off, that's a very hot deal IMO.

Let me guess - standard AliExpress "big sale" rules apply? Prices get jacked up before the sale starts, to make the discounts look impressive?

That's pretty much any online stores these days.

Because it's significantly cheaper?

Yeah, but the Chinese online stores are especially ridiculous with it. For the 11/11 sales at AliExpress, sellers will often crank their prices up so high before the sale that their "sale" prices on the day of the sale are actually higher than regular price. Lol.

Exactly. AliExpress vendors exist at the minimum margins all the time. They don't have the room to give 5%, let alone 40%. Unless a sale is being heavily subsidized by the manufacturer, it's 98% word play/semantics.

does anyone have any idea what the difference is between the "European union gsm" or "Non-EU GSM" models are? I'm assuming this changes which frequency bands are supported, but there's no information on what the actual difference is.
