Seeing as how most people are getting their Canadian ebates relatively quickly, I think it's probably better that I just buy in CAD (save myself potential hassle if it doesn't work with USD on ebates.ca).
Yeah exactly. The Ebates just posted to my account. Super quick.

Been thinking of purchasing this for the last 24 hours.

The only thing holding me back is the supposedly weak vibrator motor and the apparent lack of XDA developer support right now vs. the 7 Pro.

GCam is hit or miss as usual.

If I'm buying OnePlus, it's going to be for the dev support behind it... and so far the 7 doesn't look promising.

Checked out with USD, got eBates asap. Charged me $637 CAD w/ conversion, and got 36.69 CAD from eBates. $600 all in w/ the OnePlus case.

Does the OP7 support HDR10 video recording?

I know the screen is HDR10, but is it like the Mi 9 and doesn't have the ability to record in HDR10?
Anyone?

You don't have to buy in CAD, will have 6% rebate regardless of currency. Buying in USD gives better deal.
The only advantage of buying in CAD is in case of return or undelivered order you will get exactly what you paid in CAD, whereas if bought in USD you will lose if greenback drops. Or gain if it raises :)

In my case CAD ended up being cheaper. Either way its a great deal.

Banggood has the Oneplus 7 pro for $674 US, I guess about $400 more. Is this deal still better?

$891.11 CAD

Yes, this is good.

That said, going through AliExpress, I think the non-Pro 12GB version is the best value for power users. Meanwhile, the non-Pro 8GB is the best value for everyday users.

I thought they charged you USD even it is displayed as CAD, based on that, I paid with USD credit card to avoid the currency exchange fee. Can anyone confirm if my understanding is correct or not if you paid with CAD credit card?

I've always been charged in CAD exactly what it said the charge was going to be.
