Bands are all there, if they kept deploying the Freedom profile since OP5, it should be ok. Worse case, you just keep forcing the phone onto specific band/network and don't let it auto switch. No idea if they updated it to support band 13. When I got a new Band 13 sim from Freedom, my OP5 didn't run that well but I only ran it for like 4 days until my S10 showed up.

But if you are on Freedom, Samsung S10 line is awesome. VoLTE and Wifi Calling just work right out of the box. Way better experience. Without VoLTE, you data drop to dead slow 3G when you get a call. Very annoying.

I am all for compromises of Oneplus if it saves a buck (or $300). But when Galaxy S10 512GB can be had for $699 and Samsung A50 for $0 with $10 Tab on Freedom. I don't see why anyone need to downgrade to Oneplus brand.

This is not a bad deal tho, if there's no duty. $650 for a 855/8GB/256GB phone is decently priced.

And before someone calls me a hater, I have owned Oneplus One,3,5 and it has been my go to brand for last 6 years, warts and all on Freedom/Wind.
I have a grandfathered plan back when they were Wind, and the monthly plan + tab wouldn't be worth it at that point. I would ratehr keep my plan and buy outright.

I'm in the same boat (mobilicity $25 talk text and 6 gb data, on Chatr) So just like you I'm sticking with OnePlus/buying outright.

When the 6T came out it was $769+tax so I would believe it would be about $900 all in. (Based on the fact that each new model comes with a slight price increase).

So am I. Still rocking 8GB + 1GB US/Canada roaming plan for $35.

That's why I jumped on the $699 S10 512GB deal a month or so back. I miss Oxygen OS but VoLTE and Wifi Calling + perfect network switching doesn't make me look back any more.

In UK, 150 pounds seperate 7 Pro vs 7.

So one would think 7 would start around $750 CAD if they follow that same gap. I don't think they will deviate much from 6T prices.

I don't believe I can get the tab on my plan as it is a very old $25 plan.

No, I bought my S10 outright from Samsung. Even the guy at Freedom was astonished how cheap it was, they couldn't even match with their subsidized plans. I think 1/2 of RFD is rocking S10s right now because of that thread :D

No, I can't get a subsidize phone from Freedom any more, will lose grandfathering. My last subsidize phone for a free ZTE when they introduced band 66. I won't let this plan go until I can't live with 8GB any more or they force me off. I travel outside their zone and US quite often, that 1GB roaming comes in handy.

Oh I wasn't aware of that offer from Samsung but I didn't need a phone until recently. Otherwise I probably would have taken it. I am considering this but not sure about the shipping and time it'll take to get here.

I am also on 8gb/1gb us roaming. After FF 35% off, I pay close $35. From what I heard, it is supposed to be eligible for subsidized devices because its base plan is $60 before discount.

It's not about what the plan used to cost, its about they will only give out a subsidized phone only if you pick a currently offered plan.

Of course, if any agent can give me a subsidized device with grandfather plan with a secret menu of sorts, I am all ears. :D

People on redflag deals who purchased from this seller (fantasy) typically got their order in under a month without any extra taxes. AliExpress is typically pretty good with their guarantees too in case something doesn't show up, full refund. I have bought tons of stuff on there in the past and they all show up as long as you buy from a reputable seller.

Oxygen. Also has OTA updates, so you should be good to go for a few years.

Ah okay. It does say this is a pre-order so it might take longer than a month since it may not ship until at a later time. If you order it, let me know.
