I've received mine last friday, the reasons I bought it were, first, all bands are cover (priority for me), second, the price (it's a steal), third, it has 3 slots (2 SIM + 1 Micro SD), the thing in my third point is the others umidigi (models like F1 or play or S3 Pro) share the slot 2 (where are my 4G/LTE bands) with the micro sd, so, it's not possible to have your bands + a micro sd card at the same time. I took a chance about the GPS accuracy cuz I need this phone to do skip+uber+doordash, the results were just fine in my test. I recommend to use nova launcher,

No. Slot 1 or slot 2, both do 'full bands' LTE, you can't just do them at the same time (i.e. if you get a call on one the other will be suspended). This is how pretty much all dual sim phones work these days (there are very few exceptions).

If you have a uSD card in 'slot 2' you can fully use slot 1 and get all the 'bands'. The benefit of 3 slots is you obviously can have 2 SIMs AND the uSD card at the same time. ALL dual sim phones can technically do that, they just aren't designed for it (the position the uSD contacts in the same space one of the SIMs use, the chipset is fully capable of all 3 at once).

Got notice that my phone shipped overnight and received the tracking number which won't be live for a few days.

I am no camera pro but I'm quite impressed with the A5 camera. Mind you, i have upgraded from an S5 and I haven't seen examples from any of the current phones in the market.

i'm interested as to what steps you've been taking so far.
not sure how familiar you are are with resetting a phone or whether it is needed at all.
but i found this link on how to proceed with an older umidigi but i'm pretty sure it's the same 3 finger salute. hard reset

but if you've never done stuff like that, be very careful, consider taking your phone to a shop...
Sadly, I have not been able to get the phone back. I send an email to umidigi support on the 17th and have yet to hear from them. I also opened a dispute with aliexpress, about which I should know more in 3-4 days (as they have a timeframe to answer).

I have successfully activated wifi calling on my A5 pro on Freedom Mobile.

1. Setting->network & internet->mobile network->advanced->calling->wifi calling preferred. See picture.
2. Goto Freedom Mobile Wifi Registration to enter 911 emergency info.
3. Restart phone, and you should see VoWiFi icon at the notification bar. See attached picture.

However, VoLTE is not working on Freedom Mobile. Dial *#*#4636#*#* in phone app, under phone info page, you can see VoLTE is not provisioned.

Hope this helps someone.

VoLTE is rarely, if not never, allowed by Canadian providers on phones that are not purchased directly from them.

True, except of course for iPhones, and Samsung phones if you have a compatible model and flash the right thing.

I am on Virgin Mobile and it appears VoLTE is working. During calls, the signals remains on 4G and the VoLTE sign still shows. It doesn't drop to 3G, H or H+.

Are you running dual SIM, is it possible you're staying on LTE on the other SIM?

Can you dial *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer and report what you're seeing for the VoLTE provisioning:
