All-you-can-eat Sushi in DOWNTOWN?

Are there any all you can eat sushi \ sashimi restaurants in downtown? I'm talking about a place that would be similar to Sushi on 7 or Hosu.

Anyone know? I've been searching....

I need sushi at least twice a week and driving uptown is killing me

Yes, it will be really appreciated if someone can post where you can get them in DT Toronto. Cuz I will be going there every night whenever I'm on Business in Toronto.

I don't consider Danforth 'downtown' at all...

Katsu is Danforth and Carlaw...not bad but not great.

Close to the best teriyaki I have had at an AYCE though.
Sushi is below par of the northern AYCE's...too much rice, not enough selection.
Tempura is also quite good here...very fresh and light.
$25

Sushi Place on Queen W of Spadina has AYCE on certain days.

It is decent quality, but personally I dont like it much myself...I compare it to your average sushi bar from like 10 years ago...nothing 'special'..but still good quality and decent prices. I think its about $25...but call or pass by to check on AYCE dates/times.

There is another small AYCE off of Yonge just a bit south of Bloor.
I have not been, and do not know exactly where it is, but my friend has mentioned it before and compared it overall to Katsu.

New Generation on Bloor at Brunswick is also quite great, though not AYCE.

I prefer their 'spicy' rolls over any I have had in the city. Their sushi is always quite fresh and the prices are fair. Their maki is huge and plump, and their sushi is overall well made and well presented.
Average dinner price is about $20 per person

Cheers, and happy hunting.

That restaurant is on Church St., and yes just a bit south of Bloor, can't recall the name though, they have AYCE for dinner only, and it's $17.99 iirc, similar menu to the one at Katsu.

there's a new AYCE on bloor near bathurst (just east). It's called Mariko I believe, which also has a location in the Carrot Commons.

Has anyone tried it out yet? I think they're adversitising $17.99.

every ayce i have been to downtown is horrible in comparison to north of finch.

but when it comes to a la carte, i don't even consider uptown worth mentioning.
