Powerstop is good stuff but slotted and drilled is overkill. Drilled isn't really good for any car due to potential for fatigue cracks and less mass and surface area.

How will this impact braking performance? Is there any mitigation against the loss in performance, if any.

I bought this brand of brake kit from Rock Auto, but it was the plain rotor. Rusted like crazy causing rough braking and vibrations after a year.
Its ok if you're selling the car or returning a lease but if you're using it long term I would not buy again.

I bought a set, different model but Z23, for my 2006 Civic EX. I found the braking power amazingly strong (and no fading) when compared to my original brakes so I needed to adapt my braking pedal force accordingly. I really like it and I highly recommend Power Stop based on my experience with the product on my Civic.

This set, K229, fits my 2011 RDX. I don't really need to replace the rotors and brake pads, yet. But for this price of less than just getting all the pads from the dealer, it is a no brainer for me. I do my own brake work. So when the time comes to replace the pads, I'll replace the rotors and all.

Thanks OP.

Amazon is using dynamic pricing so when someone buys one or it gets to many views the price jumps in this case someone bought one of the two that were for sale
