What’s with the downvotes? Is this not a good deal?

It’s the lowest it’s ever been…

Have you ever had your hair cut with $10 scissors?

Well, it'll set the bar low for future cuts at least, so there's that.

It might be due to expectations. Post#2 shows the kit used to sell for $40. People paying that price would expect a very high-quality kit.

Personally, I wouldn't be thinking of opening a home basement barbering biz using a $7.50 10 pce scissors set no matter how great the temptation might be.

Might good to experiment on the lil rugrats though when they don't eat their broccoli! Maybe after a session or 2, just the mention of a diy do with these 'er premium hair cutting tools will be 'nuff of a deterrence to obey🤣

But C'mon Man we'd have to agree its a pretty good deal. Upvote from me

I'm pretty sure I bought the blue set of scissors without the rest of the kit at the start of the pandemic for $25. They work quite well and feel pretty solid. One year in, they've gotten a bit dull as expected so this is perfect for another set, especially since it comes with a cape that I've been looking to buy too. Thanks OP!

I hope these are not the bad quality dull scissors that will constantly yank the hair out of your scalp.

I use a $3.5 pair thinner shears from AliExpress. It's perfectly fine. No pulling. Not sure about durability, but my expectations are reasonable.

Hawt damn! I've been using a pair of dollarstore scissors for junk trimming for years! Wouldn't have given it another thought if you didn't remind me. Just ordered a set. I figure its time to pamper the big boy downstairs with a set of "premium" shears, at least compared with the $1 pair I've been using.

Thanks for the remind! I mean it🥳

Might be derailing a bit... But can someone actually recommend a good pair of scissors and shear scissors? Don't need a professional barber level, but also not something thats dull and make someone cry.

thanks in advance.

Buy once for quality so you never have to buy again. Saves money over having to replace junk over and over.
