Yes, an M.2 NVMe SSD would be better for a new build

This SATA 2.5" drive is good for upgrading older systems or if want to use this as a storage drive.

Most consumer drives aren't a good fit for chia.

Maybe the Samsung 980 Pro, WD SN850, and enterprise SSDs may continue to see their prices fluctuate.
