Reading the reviews, it seems this has a very high failure rate.

Price is right considering the risk with these particular sticks.

Nice price! Amazon would replace it no problems if it fails.

You put non-replaceable data on a USB stick?

this is the biggest thing that drives me nuts with my wife and her computer habits.
she puts all her work on a usb drive and doesn't back it up.
I can't tell you have many times in the past 10 years her drive fails/corrupts/etc. and I'm spending half a day trying to recover files for her.
She still hasn't learned....

I bought this stick from BBuy a few months ago. Absolute crap. Had to format 4 times. Constantly lost data then just stopped working. Avoid.

Mine failed within a month. Not recommended.

Maybe you haven't learned that you should swipe her USB stick monthly and secretly back it up.

Next time it fails, pretend it took you a day to recover her files and cash in some foot massage or something.

Bought one of these last year nothing but trouble and horrible customer support, I was told to mail it in and I would have to pay postage which was about 6 dollars, then they said they never received it then 3 months later they said they did and there was no usb in the envelope so I received nothing, will never buy again always Kingston for me, very reliable had one go and they replaced it within 3 days of call they paid for shipping fantastic service. I am a computer tech and use a lot of these for me it pays to stay away from Lexar.

Yea, mine failed too! My friend slammed it to the floor while still attached to his laptop. Twice.

Jokes aside, out of the two I bought back in june, one was returned after a failed h2testw.

Quite a few reviews claim failure/bad warranty service... wish the aData one would go on sale since i've had good experience with that one...
