[Amazon.ca] $14.99 After coupon - EBL AAA Rechargeable Batteries 10 Pack

Was in the market for some Triple A batteries and came across these. Nice that it comes with its own storage case & are color coded. These are 1100mAh.

There is also a 2 coupon that can be clipped to bring the price to $14.99.

I have one of EBL's $13 chargers
https://www.amazon.ca/EBL-Individual-Ch ... B01LYS5SLX
It's nice as you can charge batteries individually and it has USB input
Paired it with a solar panel for free energy Face With Tears Of Joy

For $5 more (with coupon) there's an option to have 4x 2350mAh AA bundled in

Are AA/AAA battery chargers generally pretty universal? I have a Duracell Battery Charger with Rechargeable Batteries from a decade ago. Just wondering if that is likely to work?

They are universal by battery type. If yours is for NiMH batteries it will work.

Cool I'll have to check. Thanks for that. Is there another common type of rechargeable?

I have tried AmazonBasics, Energizer, IKEA, and EBL rechargeable batteries. EBL is the one that has lasted the longest, and has most of its capacity after 4 years now.

Definitely recommend! This is the what I bought: https://www.amazon.ca/EBL-Battery-Charg ... cs&sr=1-28

Better deal than the one above, imo

Only if they actually have the capacity advertised. EBL seems to be pretty good for that. Not sure about RayHom but one of the reviews say they only have around 600-800mAh

If you are asking for brand then there are a lot of brands, duracell, energizer, eneloop, ebl etc...
If you are asking for types then the 3 main types of rechargeable batteries are :

1. Ni-Cad : nickel cadmium, the lowest quality.Came out first.
2. Ni-Mh : nickel metal hybride, the most popular nowadays. Quality depends on brand. Eneloop seems to be the best.
3. Lithium-Ion : the best quality with a price tag.

They all exist in different format, AAA, AA, C,, D, 9V etc....

Oh then my old charger is most likely Ni-Cad. Thanks for this info.

do you ever get Yellow light? It will charge (red), and then later turn yellow (not quite green, not quite red) What does it mean?

Yes I have
If you leave them though they should eventually turn green

Red is charging
Green is fully charged
So half red + half green is half-charged Winking Face
